Consultation HotlineAn angle control valve is composed of an actuator and a valve, which changes the resistance coefficient by changing the stroke according to the input signal to achieve the purpose of regulating flow. The structure of angle type regulating valves is similar to that of single seat valves, and its characteristics determine its simple flow path, low resistance, and particularly conducive to the regulation of high pressure drop, high viscosity, fluid containing suspended and granular substances. It can avoid phenomena such as coking, bonding, and blockage, and is also convenient for cleaning and self-cleaning.
Comparison of forward and reverse use: Generally, angle control valves are installed in a forward direction, that is, bottom in and side out. It is recommended to install in reverse, that is, the material enters from the side and exits from the bottom, in situations of high pressure difference and medium with high viscosity, easy coking, and suspended particulate matter. The purpose of using an angle control valve in reverse is to improve unbalanced force and reduce wear on the valve core, while also facilitating the flow of high viscosity, easily coking, and suspended particulate media, avoiding coking and blockage.
The angle control valve has a simple flow path and low resistance, and is generally suitable for forward use (installation). However, in high-pressure drop situations, it is recommended to use angle type control valves in reverse to improve imbalance force and reduce damage to the valve core, while also facilitating the flow of media and avoiding coking and blockage of the control valve. When using angle control valves in reverse, it is particularly important to avoid prolonged small opening to prevent strong oscillation and damage to the valve core. Especially during the trial production stage of chemical plants, due to the low load during the trial production and the inability to quickly meet the design process conditions, angle control valves used in reverse should avoid prolonged small opening conditions as much as possible to prevent damage to the angle control valve. In general, reverse use is not recommended for angle control valves, and is only recommended for high pressure differential, high viscosity, easily coking, and suspended particle containing media. When using in reverse, it is important to avoid operating with a small opening for a long time, especially during testing.
